Our History
Casino Interlaken AG was founded in 2002 and operates the land-based casino in Interlaken. Its experience in running a supervised casino forms the basis of the online offer.
- 2002 — Casino Interlaken AG is founded and operates the casino in Interlaken.
- 20.11.2019 — the extension of the casino concession to online games is granted.
- 24.02.2020 — the operator starts its online activity.
The online casino is subject to the same concession framework and the same supervision as the land-based casino.
Licence
The casino games offered on G357 are provided under the online concession of Casino Interlaken AG, number 516-010-01. The extension of the casino concession to online games was granted on 20.11.2019.
In Switzerland, only holders of a Swiss casino concession may offer casino games online. Information on licensed casinos is available on the website of the Federal Gaming Board (FGB): www.esbk.admin.ch.
Regulation and Supervision
Casino Interlaken AG is supervised by the Federal Gaming Board (FGB). The online casino is operated in accordance with Swiss law, in particular:
- the Federal Act on Gambling (Gambling Act, GamblA) and the Gambling Ordinance (GamblO), which govern the games offered, player protection and the gambling exclusion;
- the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), which requires us to identify players and to check the origin of funds where necessary;
- the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1 September 2023, which governs how we handle your personal data.
Players must be at least 18 years old and live or have their habitual residence in Switzerland. Each person may hold only one player account.
Security
We protect player accounts with the following measures:
- Password rules: passwords must have at least 10 characters and contain both letters and numbers. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- Login protection: after five failed login attempts, further attempts for that account are blocked for 15 minutes.
- Session timeout: you are logged out automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Encrypted connection: the connection between your browser and the site is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Identity checks: every player is identified and checked against the Swiss exclusion register before the account is finally opened.

Responsible Gambling
